Make sure to fill each one with the correct spice for optimum use. We make the gear mechanism from stainless steel that is treated to prevent corrosion and rust

READY TO SEASON — Our salt mills come partially filled with Cristaux de sel blanc d'Allemagne, a dry white salt from Germany, and our pepper mills with Tan Hoi black pepper from Vietnam (refill cubes are available from Peugeot). Fill with peppercorns (max size ¼-inch/6mm) and dry salt only (max size ⅙-inch/4mm) — do not use sea salt
